Rules and how to play
One fox against four hounds, on one colour of an 8×8 board. All moves are one diagonal step into emptiness, with no captures. Hounds only move forward; the fox moves both ways and goes first. The fox wins by reaching the far rank or passing all hounds; the hounds win by blocking it. Three repetitions or 120 actions without progress draws.
