Rules and how to play
White moves first. Select a piece, preview a legal destination, then tap that destination again or confirm. Your king may never be left in check. Includes castling (never out of, through, or into check), en passant and a choice of queen, rook, bishop or knight on promotion. Checkmate wins; stalemate and insufficient mating material draw. Claim a draw after threefold repetition or 50 moves by each side without a pawn move or capture; five repetitions or 75 such moves draw automatically, with checkmate taking priority. A selected intended move may also support a draw claim. No clock or touch-move rule. Built-in practice AI, not rated tournament play.
