Rules and how to play
A 16-card deduction game, ranks 1–8, for 2–4 players. Each round removes one unseen card; two-player games also remove three faceup cards. Draw one at the start of your turn, then play one of your two cards and resolve it. Your remaining card is secret. Eliminated players reveal their card and wait for the next round. Handmaid protection expires when your next turn starts. If everyone else is protected, Guard, Priest, Baron and King have no effect; Prince must target yourself. Prince redraws from the reserve if the deck is empty, except that discarding Princess eliminates without a redraw. With Countess and King or Prince, Countess must be played. One survivor wins; if the deck empties, highest remaining rank wins, with discarded rank total breaking ties. Earn 7 / 5 / 4 tokens with 2 / 3 / 4 players. The round winner starts next. Site rules: complete ties share a token and choose a random tied starter; the first seat starts the first match, and rematches rotate the first seat. Solo uses a local practice AI.
